  1. Do you have any partners in the Bahamas? If not, who can become a partner and how would it be possible to the the treatment here? What are your requirements?

    • Dear Lana,
We do not have any partners in the Bahamas, but we would welcome them! Those who have funding that could push us forward rapidly should contact me directly by email at robert.broyles@sicklecellcurefoundation.org to begin discussions and negotiations as soon as possible. If you would like to help us raise funds among those in your community, especially now during National Sickle Cell Month (September), you can do that in two ways: (1) You can do an email campaign and direct people to our website where they can donate using a credit card through Paypal which is very secure (just click on the gold Donate button). (2) You can email me as listed above and I will email you back some pdf files from which youcan print brochures and other materials to hand out to people, including a donation form that can be mailed with a personal check to The Sickle Cell Cure Foundation, 601 NW 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103. All donations are 100% tax-deductible under the U.S. IRS tax code. SCCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.

This type of help will enable us to get clinical trials going as soon as possible (by next year, we hope) and get the treatment to everyone as fast as possible after that. Thanks very much. I hope that you can help.

      Sincerely,
      Robert H. Broyles, PhD

    • Dear Hussain,
Thank you very much for your dedication and willingness to help us raise funds. I will indeed send you the documents that you need, attached to an email that I will send directly to your email address. I hope that others all over the world will see your post and this reply, and that they will also write to me for information to conduct campaigns to help us raise the funds to get the therapy into clinical trials. Thank you so much.
