National Sickle Cell Month

The Sickle Cell Cure Foundation, Inc. (SCCF) has made significant progress in recent months, including a U.S. patent issued 14 April 2009, and further laboratory discoveries showing that less DREPAC is needed than previously believed to reverse sickle cell! To keep this progress going, we need your help! It is our goal to have clinical trials underway by this time next year! Please click the donate button and give generously this month – National Sickle Cell Month. SCCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research foundation and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Hi’ I have been living with this disease for 35 years and I also have a twin brother that also has the disease. It’s so hard living with SCD and its wonderful to here that someone is working on the cure. I hope and pray that a cure will be available very very soon, because other health concerns come with having this disease that if a cure is found and giving to the millions of people who carry this, it would be so amazing! So please keep me informed on the latest news.
